MADKOUR Projects Supports New Cairo’s Urban Expansion Through a Strategic Power Transmission Line Rerouting Project

MADKOUR Projects is proud to announce the successful completion of a major project involving the rerouting of several Extra High Voltage (EHV) and High Voltage (HV) overhead transmission lines (220 kV and 66 kV) in the southern extension of New Cairo, one of the strategic infrastructure projects supporting the area's ongoing urban expansion and investment growth.

The project was executed for the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces under the supervision of the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC). The scope included the rerouting of several critical transmission lines intersecting with newly developed roads, transportation corridors, and urban expansion zones, contributing to the development of the infrastructure required to accommodate future growth plans in New Cairo.

The project included the rerouting of the following transmission lines:

• Kureimat – East Cairo 220 kV Transmission Line
• Mostathmereen – Fifth Settlement 66 kV Transmission Line
• 220 kV transmission lines intersecting with the new Talat Harb Axis, Petrified Forest area, Ain Sokhna Road, and the Katameya – Zahraa El Maadi – El Narges corridor
• Katameya – Fifth Settlement 66 kV Transmission Line
• Mostathmereen – Katameya 220 kV Transmission Line
• Ain El Seira – Zahraa El Maadi 220 kV Transmission Line
• South Maadi – Zahraa El Maadi 220 kV Transmission Line

This project represents a successful model of collaboration and integration among key stakeholders and highlights the importance of effective coordination between development partners to deliver national infrastructure projects in line with the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and operational reliability while maintaining uninterrupted power transmission throughout all phases of execution.

This achievement further demonstrates MADKOUR Projects' capability to manage and execute complex energy and infrastructure projects through its highly qualified technical teams and extensive expertise in power transmission and distribution. مدكور للمشروعات تدعم التوسع العمراني بالقاهرة الجديدة من خلال مشروع استراتيجي لتعديل مسارات خطوط نقل الكهرباء 

نفخر في مدكور للمشروعات بالإعلان عن الانتهاء من تنفيذ مشروع تعديل مسارات عدد من خطوط النقل الهوائية الفائقة والجهد العالي (220 و66 ك.ف) بمنطقة الامتداد الجنوبي للقاهرة الجديدة، أحد المشروعات الاستراتيجية الداعمة للتوسع العمراني والاستثماري في المنطقة.

تم تنفيذ المشروع لصالح الهيئة الهندسية للقوات المسلحة وتحت إشراف الشركة المصرية لنقل الكهرباء، حيث شملت الأعمال تعديل مسارات مجموعة من خطوط نقل الكهرباء الحيوية التي تتقاطع مع عدد من مشروعات الطرق والمحاور الجديدة والتوسعات العمرانية، بما يسهم في تهيئة البنية التحتية اللازمة لاستيعاب خطط التنمية المستقبلية بالقاهرة الجديدة. وقد تضمنت أعمال المشروع تعديل مسارات كل من: 

• خط الكريمات – شرق القاهرة جهد 220 ك.ف.
• خط المستثمرين – التجمع الخامس جهد 66 ك.ف.
• خطوط الجهد 220 ك.ف المتقاطعة مع محور طلعت حرب الجديد ومنطقة الغابة المتحجرة وطريق العين السخنة وطريق القطامية – زهراء المعادي – النرجس.
• خط القطامية – التجمع الخامس جهد 66 ك.ف.
• خط المستثمرين – القطامية جهد 220 ك.ف.
• خط عين الصيرة – زهراء المعادي جهد 220 ك.ف.
• خط جنوب المعادي – زهراء المعادي جهد 220 ك.ف.

يمثل هذا المشروع نموذجًا للتكامل والتعاون بين مختلف الجهات المعنية، ويعكس أهمية التنسيق الفعال بين شركاء التنمية لضمان تنفيذ المشروعات القومية وفق أعلى معايير الكفاءة والجودة، مع الحفاظ على استمرارية وموثوقية الشبكة الكهربائية خلال جميع مراحل التنفيذ.

ويؤكد هذا الإنجاز قدرة مدكور للمشروعات على إدارة وتنفيذ المشروعات المعقدة في قطاع الطاقة والبنية التحتية، بالاعتماد على كوادرها الفنية المتخصصة وخبراتها الممتدة في تنفيذ مشروعات نقل وتوزيع الكهرباء، بما يدعم توجهات الدولة نحو التنمية العمرانية المستدامة وتطوير البنية التحتية الاستراتيجية.
