MADKOUR Projects Signs Contract to Expand Masaeed Substation in Sinai

MADKOUR Projects has signed today a contract with the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Co. (EETC) to Expand the Masaeed substation to enhance power supply in Sinai. This comes within the framework of Egypt’s plan to develop the unified national electricity grid and strengthen energy infrastructure.
The contract was signed by Engineer Mona Rizk, the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Co. Chairman with Engineer Mohamed Said, Managing Director of MADKOUR Projects in the presence of the leaders of both companies.
The contract includes the expansion of the Masaeed substation - within the Canal Electricity Zone -which involves adding 3 gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) cells with a voltage of 220 kV on a turnkey basis, within an implementation period of 12 months.
MADKOUR Projects had played a pivotal role in implementing the Masaeed substation in North Sinai Governorate amidst significant challenges, where its team successfully energized the 220/66/22 kV substation with a capacity of two 175 MVA transformers each.
وقّعت اليوم شركة مدكور للمشروعات مع الشركة المصرية لنقل الكهرباء عقد جديد لتوسعة محطة محولات المساعيد لتعزيز التغذية الكهربائية بسيناء، وذلك في إطار خطة الدولة لتطوير الشبكة القومية الموحدة للكهرباء وتعزيز البنية التحتية للطاقة.
وقعت المهندسة/ منى رزق رئيس مجلس إدارة الشركة المصرية لنقل الكهرباء العقد مع المهندس محمد سعيد المدير العام لشركة مدكور للمشروعات ، و بحضور قيادات كلتا الشركتين. 
ويتضمن العقد توسيع محطة محولات المساعيد - التي تقع نطاق عمل منطقة كهرباء القناة  ويشمل إضافة 3 خلايا جهد 220 ك.ف من النوع المعزول بالغاز (GIS) بنظام تسليم المفتاح، وذلك خلال مدة تنفيذ تبلغ 12 شهرًا.
وكانت شركة مدكور للمشروعات قد لعبت دوراً محورياً في تنفيذ محطة محولات المساعيد بمحافظة شمال سيناء وسط تحديات كبيرة حيث نجح فريقها في وضع الجهد الكهربائي بمحطة المحولات جهد 220/66/22 ك.ف وسعة محولين بقدرة 175 ميجا فولت أمبير لكل منهما.
