MADKOUR Delivers Sustainable Water Solutions in Equatorial Guinea

MADKOUR Group continues to strengthen its presence across Africa, delivering cutting-edge engineering solutions that drive Sustainable development. In a recent milestone, Eng. Sherif El-Sherbiny, Egypt’s Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, accompanied by Dr. Mostafa Madkour, Chairman and CEO of MADKOUR Group, visited the Malabo Port Water Treatment Plant project site in Equatorial Guinea in presence of Mr. Clemente Ferreiro Ferreyano, Equatorial Guinea’s Minister of State for Public Works and Urban Planning. This came after an official meeting to discuss the future of cooperation between the two countries.
During the visit, the Minister reviewed the project’s progress and received a detailed update from the MADKOUR team on its implementation. With a production capacity of 1,500 m³ per day, the plant is set to be completed within six months, adhering to the highest engineering standards for efficiency and sustainability.
This project highlights MADKOUR leadership in executing large-scale infrastructure projects across the continent and reflects the Egyptian government’s support for expanding national companies’ operations in Africa, fostering sustainable development, and strengthening bilateral ties between Egypt and African countries.

تواصل مجموعة مدكور تعزيز تواجدها في قارة أفريقيا من خلال تقديم حلول هندسية متطورة تدعم التنمية المستدامة. في هذا الإطار، قام المهندس شريف الشربيني، وزير الإسكان والمرافق والمجتمعات العمرانية، برفقة الدكتور مصطفى مدكور، رئيس مجلس الإدارة والرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة شركات مدكور، بزيارة موقع مشروع محطة معالجة مياه ميناء مالابو في غينيا الاستوائية. وذلك بحضور السيد كليمنتي فيرييرو فياريانو، وزير الدولة للأشغال العامة والتخطيط العمراني بغينيا الاستوائية، وذلك عقب اجتماع رسمي لمناقشة مستقبل التعاون بين البلدين.
اطلع الوزير خلال الزيارة على آخر تطورات المشروع واستمع إلى شرح مفصل من فريق مدكور حول مراحل التنفيذ. تبلغ طاقة المحطة الإنتاجية 1500 متر مكعب يوميًا، ومن المقرر الانتهاء من المشروع خلال ستة أشهر وفقًا لأعلى المعايير الهندسية لضمان الكفاءة والاستدامة.
يبرز هذا المشروع الدور الريادي لمدكور في تنفيذ المشروعات الكبرى بالقارة الأفريقية، ويعكس دعم الحكومة المصرية لتوسيع أنشطة الشركات الوطنية في أفريقيا، بما يسهم في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة وتعزيز العلاقات الثنائية بين مصر ودول القارة الإفريقية.
