The conference, organized by Hydrogen Egypt (H²Egypt) and took place on September 13th &14th, successfully brought together numerous industry experts, investors, and leading companies in this field, discussing opportunities, challenges and initiatives related to the production and export of green hydrogen.

Eng. Hesham Madkour, the Executive Vice President of Madkour Group, participated in a panel discussion titled "The role of Ammonia as H2 Transition Enablers.” During his speech, he emphasized the importance of considering the environmental aspect in addressing the high cost, making green ammonia an ideal choice for energy storage, transportation, and exporting. Madkour reaffirmed Egypt's capabilities in supply chains, geographical location, and the presence of supportive political will for the green economy.
