Dr. Mostafa Amin Madkour

Dr. Mostafa Amin Madkour, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Madkour.  Egyptian national, born in 1962. Dr. Mostafa ‘expertise spans over more than 30 years  in the Energy Sector.  Today, Dr. Mostafa is positioned as an EPC icon who has been instrumental in leading mega EPC turnkey projects in Egypt and the MENA region.

Dr. Mostafa, acquired his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and machines from Cairo University. Directly after his graduation, he joined Shaker Consulting Group for 17 years, during which he was a key player, who strongly contributed to the group’s success; helping it become the leading energy consulting group in the MENA region.  During this tenure, Dr. Mostafa acquired his PH.D Degree in the field of Electrical Power & Machines from Cairo University, in affiliation with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York.

With an innovative vision to develop and support the EPC sector, Dr. Mostafa founded Madkour in 2004, specializing in building large power plants and projects. Given Dr. Madkour’s vision that has swiftly turned into reality, the group has delivered mega infrastructure power plants with a new and unprecedented approach, which has earned the group it’s current respectable reputation.

Capitalizing, on the group’s new innovative vision and engineering approaches, Dr. Madkour, expanded the group’s operations to providing fully integrated engineering and construction solutions, spanning from project management and engineering to construction and facility management.  Dr. Madkour’s vision today for the group is to become the heartbeat of development and prosperity to the Egyptian construction sector, adding value to the Egyptian economy at large.  Throughout the past few years of operations, Madkour  has been instrumental in building large state -of -the- art turnkey infrastructure projects across the various segments of the construction sector, capitalizing on their expertise and competencies across the various fields.

Mr. Hesham Madkour

Hesham Mostafa Amin Madkour , Egyptian national, born in 1994.  Hesham is the Vice President and Deputy CEO of Madkour Group. Hisham holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Global Management from the university of Milwaukee , Wisconsin , USA. Hesham’s expertise is mainly geared to business development and entrepreneurship. He has acquired experience in re-developing various corporate business modules to enhance businesses operational efficiency and effectiveness for both local and international companies.

After acquiring his BSc, in Global Management, Hesham worked with a renowned Bueno catering retail chain in Milwaukee, diligently revamping their business module and identifying and implementing new strategic business opportunities for the retail chain to expand their operations. The scope of his work included identifying new business partners to increase capital investments, revamping the retail chain concept, in addition to developing and executing new product and services customization, along with their designated program development processes.

Upon his return to Egypt, in 2014, Hesham joined Madkour Group as Vice President and Deputy CEO.  During this short tenure, Hesham has strongly contributed in establishing the business, building its corporate structure with sound implementation of corporate governance.  Hesham has also been instrumental in identifying and pursuing new expansion opportunities for the group in the various engineering, industrial and construction sectors.

Eng. Ahmed EL Gazzar

Eng. Ahmed EL Gazzar, Madkour Projects General Manager, Egyptian National, Born in 1983.  Ahmed joined Madkour  in 2015, as a Proposal and Contracts Manager, and through continuous self development, he succeeded in pursing a fast track career progression reaching to Supply Chain Director, then to General Manager for Madkour  Projects.  Throughout the past 5 years, Ahmed has successfully pursued all sides for  various mega infrastructure projects development. He started initially on the commercial side, as Proposal & Contracts Manager, managing multi million dollars contractual agreements with suppliers and subcontractors, in ways that optimized Madkour’s efficiency and performance in delivering fast track and efficient turnkey projects with optimum ROIs. Achieving a high level of success, he climbed the ladder to Supply Chain Director, developing the company’s overall Supply Chain strategy, in ways that benchmarked ROI throughout the different phases of the value chain with  high levels of efficiency in delivering fast track turnkey infra structure projects.  Given the experience he gained , Ahmed successfully cascaded his competencies and skills to various types of mega projects, such as civil and construction, water treatment and electrical infrastructure projects, where he was instrumental in bringing the most updated technologies on the global arena, while optimizing the company’s efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery.  This has paved the way for Ahmed to lead Madkour Projects entire sector.

Ahmed comes with more than 15 years of experience in mega projects construction and development, taping on different sides of the business. Ahmed was founder and  former General Manager  of Global Agent Power Systems company, a privately owned entity that he established to act as an agent for foreign suppliers of electro- mechanical equipment.  Prior to that he was a senior Proposal & Contracts Manager for one of the leading EPC electro- mechanical contractors in the region. Ahmed’s appointment to this position was considered as a leap in his career progression, that was mainly based on his profound achievements as an Operations & Maintenance Engineer in EETC ( Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company), where he worked for two years.

Ahmed holds a Bachelor of Science in Power and Machinery Electronics. After  his graduation in 2005, he swiftly developed his skills by pursing  PMP, supply chain, leadership and finance  diplomas from the various top tier  European universities and educational institutions

Eng. Mohamed Said Amin

Eng. Mohamed Said Amin, EPC Projects Director, Egyptian National, Born in 1979, joined Madkour Group in 2015, as EPC Projects Director, with More than 17 years of experience in Electrical engineering starting as inspection engineer moving all the way up to Projects director, Mohamed started His Career in 2005, at El Swedey PSP as project Engineer for El-Nubira Power Plants,  ever since Mohamed was responsible for various Multi – Billion Mega Projects, his Excellent knowledge in both operations and engineering allowed him to advance his career quickly, which in turn sharpened his various skills.

Since he joined Madkour Group in 2015, he played a huge role in executing Madkour’s Huge projects and building its trustworthy reputation, Including Egypt’s Future Agriculture (S1 & S2) substations & Imbaba Substation, which he successfully managed with his team of experienced engineers to deliver the substation only in 6 months despite the fact that similar substations were known to have an average lead time of 10-12 months. Mohamed holds B.Sc. in Electrical Power & Machines Engineering from Cairo University; in addition he is P2M Certified from Project Management Association of Japan (PMAJ)

Mr. Mohamed Sakr

Mr. Mohamed Sakr – Group Business Development Director, Egyptian National, Born in 1976. Sakr joined Madkour in 2018 as Commercial Director with 21 years of diversified professional experience in reputable Multinational and Egyptian organizations, at managerial positions within Business Development, International Sales and Marketing. Mohamed Sakr is responsible of building and leading the Business Development to identify new growth and expansion opportunities in Egypt, African and MEA  regions.

In His most recent position, Mr. Sakr was the General Manager of  Sales & Marketing -Africa in the multinational Petro Chemical UFLEX Group, achieving revenue of $ 125 Million in 3 years.

Before that he was the Regional Director- Africa in El Sewedy Electric Group for more than 8 years, achieving a revenue of $160 Million of Sales; and Projects penetrating 11 new markets all over the continent.

Mr. Sakr experience is enhanced by his MBA in Global Business along with Diplomas in Strategic Management and International Marketing.

Eng. Mohamed Nabil

Eng. Mohamed Nabil – Head of Project Management team, Egyptian National, Born in 1988. Nabil joined Madkour Group in 2015. As the Head of Project Management Department, Mohamed’s key responsibilities are geared to managing , planning and controlling the transmission, distribution and industrial turnkey projects awarded by the group. M.Nabil joined Madkour with 4 years of international experience in establishing electrical power generation and transmission plants in countries in far East Asia and MENA regions.

Mohamed started his career in 2011, as a design and commissioning engineer in EL Sweedy PSP specializing in Distributed Control and substation Automation Systems. During the tenure of his employment, Mohamed was instrumental in the design and commissioning of a 1000 MW power generation plant in Malaysia and a 4*125 MW generation plant in Iraq. Mohamed worked for El Sweedy PSP until 2015. Nabil, joined Madkour Group as a Senior project engineer during the late 2015, responsible for a number of HV and MV electrical power transmission plants. Mohamed swiftly developed his skills and knowledge which enabled him to rise gradually from Senior project engineer reaching his current post as head of the Project Management Department.

After Eng. Mohamed’s graduation with a BSc in Power Engineering in 2011, his skills and knowledge were complimented by various training courses and accreditations, among of which is being certified from IPMA ( International Project Management Association). In addition to soft skills training courses in Leadership Autonomy, Negotiation, Communication skills, Finance for Nonfinancial Managers, in addition to many other soft skills courses from the most reputable international institutions.

Eng. Ahmed Youssry

Eng. Ahmed Yousry Amin, Madkour Sales and Tendering Manager, Egyptian National, Born in 1989.  Yousry joined Madkour  in 2015, as Senior Control and Protection Engineer. Throughout the past 5 years, Yousry has developed his technical and commercial  skills and knowledge , which enabled him to work his way up the hierarchy   reaching to his current post as Sales and Tendering Manager. Today, Ahmed is fully responsible for developing Madkour offerings for mega project pitches. His unsurpassed competency to develop customized offerings for the different projects, adopting highly competitive technical and pricing strategies, has won Madkour various multi- million-pound projects. 

Yousry started his career in 2011, at El Swedey PSP as a Control and  Protection Engineer, his scope of work spanned over a wide spectrum of  mega electrical infra structure projects, ranging from electrical power generation plants to high and medium voltage transmission and distribution networks.

Ahmed holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Power Engineering from El Sherouk Academy. Since his graduation, he has undergone several soft skills trainings in Leadership , sales, marketing and negotiations from the most reputable educational institutions in Egypt and the region.

Eng. Amin Yousry

Eng. Amin Yousry Amin, General Manager for Madkour Industries, Egyptian National, Born in 1991. Yousry joined Madkour in 2015. Amin is fully responsible for developing and managing madkour industrial projects. His main responsibilities lies in managing the establishment of the  industrial projects that are assigned to the group on turnkey basis. Additionally, Amin plays a strategic role in exploiting synergetic expansion opportunities  for Madkour Group in the industrial sector in ways that would help integrate industrial manufacturing in the supply chain, catering for Madkour’s core business, while diversifying the group’s brand architecture and portfolio building new synergetic chains.

Yousry started his career in 2013, at El Swedey PSP as a technical office Engineer, his scope of work spanned over a wide spectrum LTD of mega electrical infra structure projects, ranging from electrical power generation plants to high and medium voltage transmission and distribution networks. In 2015, he joined Madkour Group as a Site Manager to the group’s HV projects such as the Future of Egypt 220 KV substations. Throughout the past 5 years, Yousry has developed his managerial and commercial skills and knowledge , which enabled him to work his way up the hierarchy reaching to his current post as Madkour Industries general Manager.

Amin holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Power Engineering from El Sherouk Academy. Since his graduation, he has undergone several soft skills trainings in Leadership , sales, marketing and negotiations from the most reputable educational institutions in Egypt and the region.
