Dr. Mahmoud Esmat, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, met with Dr. Mostafa Madkour, Chairman and CEO of MADKOUR Group, and his accompanying delegation to discuss collaboration in various fields concerning the electricity and renewable energy sector. This is within the framework of a strategy committed to quality standards in services provided, electrical supply, reducing losses, combating electricity theft, and enhancing performance rates in distribution networks.

The meeting showcased various forms of cooperation between the Ministry and MADKOUR Group such as reducing commercial losses and tackling electricity theft at low voltage by using smart metering systems, communication and monitoring systems, modern collection systems, and enhancing services for subscribers within a plan to manage wasted energy across all uses, especially domestic, commercial, and public lighting. The meeting also explored the possibility of joint work in electricity distribution and selecting areas that encompass various consumption patterns to improve service quality, maximize company returns, and effectively manage owned assets.
