MADKOUR Projects in the Sultanate of Oman is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded a contract by Oman Electricity Transmission Company—OETC, a member of Nama Group—to construct a 132 KV grid station for the JBB ALI Wind Farm in South Sharqiyah Governorate and a 132 KV overhead line connecting the JBB Hassan substation to the Al-Jawabi substation.

The scope of work includes the construction of a 132 KV wind farm substation and 132 KV overhead lines connecting JBB Hassan to the Al-Jawabi substation.

This strategic project is part of the development of the Jaalan Bu Ali wind farm, which has a production capacity of 100-200 megawatts. This wind farm will contribute to increasing renewable energy generation in Oman and supporting the country's climate goals.

This project reaffirms MADKOUR's commitment to Oman's Vision 2040 for a sustainable future, through reinforcing the transition to renewable energy.
