We're excited to announce the launch of the UNESCO-MADKOUR Hackathon at Cairo Water Week 2024! This groundbreaking event brings together talented young innovators from across the Arab region to tackle Egypt's most pressing Water, Energy, and Food (WEF) challenges.

The Hackathon was attended by Dr. Nuria Sanz, Director of UNESCO in Cairo, Eng. Hesham Madkour, Executive Vice President of MADKOUR Group, Dr. Omnia Madkour, Vice President for Human Capital & MADKOUR Academy, and Eng. Karim Ehab who recently joined MADKOUR Group to lead an exciting new venture under our corporate entrepreneurship initiative. The venture focuses on expanding Madkour’s expertise into renewable energy and sustainable solutions, building on our established reputation in energy and infrastructure projects.

Through this initiative, we aim to leverage cutting-edge technologies and innovative engineering solutions to meet the growing demand for clean, sustainable utilities and to address critical issues like water scarcity, energy needs, and food security.
