MADKOUR Holding and Suez Canal Bank Join Forces with EGP 4.485 Billion for Suez Road Development

MADKOUR Projects a subsidiary of MADKOUR Holding Secures 4.485 Billion EGP Financing from a Consortium Led by Suez Canal Bank for Infrastructure Development on Suez Road.
MADKOUR Projects has signed a financing agreement with a banking consortium led by Suez Canal Bank to finance the contracting works awarded by the Military Works Department of the Ministry of Defense, related to the supply and installation of underground cables along the Suez Road as a replacement for overhead cables, as part of strategic infrastructure development.
The financing consortium included: Al Baraka Bank, Industrial Development Bank, United Bank, Arab Banking Corporation Bank (ABC), Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, and the Egyptian Arab Land Bank.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Mostafa Madkour, Chairman and CEO of MADKOUR Holding; and Mr. Akef El Maghraby, CEO and Managing Director of Suez Canal Bank; and in the presence of the consortium leaders.
On this occasion, Dr. Mostafa Madkour expressed his pride in this constructive cooperation with Suez Canal Bank and the other participating banks. He stated that it embodies the integration between the banking sector and the private sector in driving national development and implementing strategic projects.
In the same context, Mr. Akef El Maghraby stated that Suez Canal Bank's leadership of this consortium aligns with the bank's vision of supporting national projects, especially in the field of infrastructure, which is a fundamental pillar for driving economic growth.

وقعت شركة مدكور للمشروعات - إحدى شركات مدكور القابضة - اتفاقية تمويل بقيمة 4.485 مليار جنيه مع تحالف مصرفي بقيادة بنك قناة السويس بغرض تمويل أعمال المقاولات المُسندة للشركة من قِبل إدارة الأشغال العسكرية بوزارة الدفاع، والخاصة بتوريد وتركيب كابلاترضيةعلى .طريق السويس كبديل للكابلات الهوائية، في إطار تطوير البنية التحتية الاستراتيجية
وشارك في التمويل كلٍ من: بنك البركة مصر ، بنك التنمية الصناعية، المصرف المُتحد، بنك المؤسسة العربية المصرفية ABC، بنك أبو ظبي التجاري، البنك العقاري المصري العربي.
وجرى توقيع الاتفاقية بحضور الدكتور مصطفى مدكور، رئيس مجلس الإدارة والرئيس التنفيذي لمدكور القابضة، والأستاذ عاكف المغربي، الرئيس .التنفيذي والعضو المُنتدب لبنك قناة السويس، و بحضور قادة البنوك المشاركة في التحالف
وفي هذا السياق، عبّر الدكتور مصطفى مدكور، رئيس مجلس الإدارة والرئيس التنفيذي لمدكور القابضة ، عن اعتزازه بهذا التعاون البنّاء مع بنك قناة السويس وباقي البنوك المُشاركة والذي يُجسد التكامل بين القطاع المصرفي والقطاع الخاص في دفع عجلة التنمية الوطنية وتنفيذ المشروعات الاستراتيجية الكُبرى.
وفي ذات السياق، قال الأستاذ عاكف المغربي، أن قيادة بنك قناة السويس لهذا التحالف يأتي اتساقًا مع رؤية البنك في دعم المشروعات القومية خاصة في مجال البنية التحتية الحيوية الذي يُعد ركيزة أساسية لدفع عجلة النمو الاقتصادي.
